Grievances Redressal Mechanism ( GRM) ” for NAHEP CAAST on “Skill development to use spatial data for Natural Resources Management in Agriculture” at JNKVV Jabalpur.

A new project titled as “Skill development to use spatial data for Natural Resources Management in Agriculture” has been approved by Education Division Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) funded jointly by ICAR and the World Bank. This shall be established as a advanced Centre “Centre for Advanced Agricultural Science and Technology (CAAST)” under subcomponent 1 b of NAHEP. The total outlay of the project as approved is Rs. 1913.00 lakhs for 4 years (F.Y. 2019-20 to 2022-23).

As per requirement of the project a “Grievances Redressal Mechanism (GRM)” is constituted at Vishwa Vidyalaya level for the period of the project. The formation and constitutional provisions are appended. This describes the role of GRM as below.

• To accept the complaints lodged in the concerned constituent/ college/ University in person/ by post/ in drop box or through phone. Regarding working in the project on CAAST JNKVV and acknowledge it within 24 hrs.
• Communicate to nodal officer concerned for redressal.
• Communicate the redressal to complainant within 10 days.
• Display of GRM on display board in GRM cell as below
